Terms of Service
Last updated: November 3, 2026
These terms apply to the FilePaster Chrome extension, the optional FilePaster Helper app and this website, provided by FilePaster ("we", "us"), an independent software developer based in the Philippines. By installing or using FilePaster you agree to them.
1. What FilePaster does
FilePaster lets you copy files and folders you select in Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive or SharePoint and paste them into a website's upload area or a folder on your computer. FilePaster Helper is a free, optional app that lets you paste into folders with your computer's normal paste command. How we handle your data is described in our privacy policy.
2. Using FilePaster
We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use FilePaster and FilePaster Helper while you have an active free trial or subscription. You may not resell, copy or reverse-engineer them, get around the trial or licence checks, or use them to break the law or the terms of Google or any website you use them with.
3. Free trial
Each new user gets a 7-day free trial with full access, starting when the extension is installed. No payment details are needed. The trial is once per person; reinstalling doesn't start a new one. After the trial, a subscription is required to keep pasting files.
4. Subscription and billing
- FilePaster costs $29 USD per year, plus any taxes calculated at checkout.
- Subscriptions are sold and billed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record, and renew automatically every year until you cancel.
- One subscription can be used in up to 3 browsers.
- You can cancel anytime from your Lemon Squeezy order page. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
- If we change the price, we'll tell you by email at least 30 days before it applies to you.
5. Refunds
See our refund policy.
6. Your accounts and files
You are responsible for your Google account and for the files you copy and paste. Only copy files you have the right to copy, and only paste them where you're allowed to share them. When you paste into a website, that website receives the files and its own terms apply. We don't own your files and never receive them.
FilePaster never deletes or changes files in your Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive or SharePoint. When it saves into a folder you set up in FilePaster, it never replaces a file: if a name is taken, the new copy gets a name such as "report (1).pdf". When you paste with your file manager (for example Finder or File Explorer), the file manager asks you what to do if a name is taken.
7. Availability and updates
FilePaster depends on Chrome, Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, SharePoint and the websites you paste into, which can change or limit their systems at any time. We work to keep FilePaster working, but we can't guarantee it will always be available or work with every file or website. We update FilePaster from time to time to fix problems and add features; updates install automatically through the Chrome Web Store.
8. No warranty
FilePaster is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose. Keep backups of important files.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Ending these terms
You can stop using FilePaster at any time by uninstalling it (and FilePaster Helper, if you installed it) and cancelling your subscription. We may suspend access if you seriously break these terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. This doesn't take away any consumer rights you have under the laws of your own country.
12. Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. For important changes, we'll give notice in the extension or by email before they apply to you. Questions: support@filepaster.com.
